Robert Miller
Chief Executive Officer
Robert J. Miller III was selected by Godspeed Capital Management LP as the Chief Executive Officer of Silver Edge Government Solutions and serves on their Board of Directors. He is a veteran government contracting executive with 20+ years of national security and technology experience.
Since becoming CEO, Robert has launched a multi-year strategy to expand SilverEdge’s portfolio of innovative cyber, software, and technology solutions by capitalizing on legacy contracts; winning major programs; and mergers and acquisition activity. In 2022, he lead the acquisition of 5 companies under the SilverEdge brand. SilverEdge’s workforce is comprised of experienced engineers and technical staff who support sophisticated development and engineering capabilities for the Department of Defense and Intelligence communities.
Before joining SilverEdge, Robert served as Executive Vice President of the Defense & Intelligence Business Unit ($1.5B) at Parsons Corporation, where he led the company through a period of transformational growth. Prior to this, Robert held several increasingly responsible executive roles with Parsons Cyber & Intelligence and Missile Defense & C5ISR Sectors.
Preceding Parsons, Robert worked at KeyW Corporation (subsequently Jacobs) as a Corporate Capture Manager. In addition to collaborating on a high-value ($5B+) business development pipeline, he led strategic corporate captures and directed the full lifecycle of existing and new opportunities through award. Before his KeyW tenure, Robert held positions at Praemittias Defense Solutions (subsequently The Radiant Group) and KAB Laboratories (subsequently Epsilon System Solutions).
Robert served in the U.S. Navy as a cryptologist and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2021, he was recognized as one of WashingtonExec’s Top 25 DoD Executives to Watch. Robert also serves on the Board of Directors for AGC National Capital Region.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration/Finance from the University of Maryland University College.
